General Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

  • These general terms and conditions apply to the provision of language coaching and mentoring services for individuals and legal entities organized by the educational services provider Mgr. Jana Grežová, based on her trade license in the field of Teaching Foreign Languages and Business, Organizational, and Economic Advisory Activities, registered in the Trade Register OU-TO-OZP-2018/003974-3, ref. no. 470-19807, District Office Topoľčany.
  • These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations of Mgr. Jana Grežová (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider") on one side, and the customers, who are students enrolled in group or individual programs, and can be individuals, legal entities, or legal representatives of individuals under the age of 18 (hereinafter referred to as the "Client"), on the other side. The General Terms and Conditions constitute an integral part of the contractual relationship between the Service Provider and the Client.
  • The Client is interested in receiving educational services exclusively for themselves and cannot be replaced by another person during the program's duration.
  • Any deviations agreed upon between the Service Provider and the Client shall prevail over the provisions stated in these terms and conditions, provided that they are duly agreed upon and confirmed in writing by both parties.
  • These general terms and conditions, as well as the price list of provided services, are published and available on the website www.lingonada.com (hereinafter the "Website").

2. Service Provider's Activities

  • The Service Provider offers educational services to children and adult individuals, as well as legal entities. The services include online or in-person language coaching and mentoring, either individually or in group programs, as per the current offer published on the Service Provider's website. The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the program's offer, which will be made available on the website www.lingonada.com.
  • Each group program concludes upon the expiration of its duration unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

3. Ordering Services and Contract Conclusion

  • The contractual relationship between the Service Provider and the Client arises from a completed binding application for the program in an online form, where, by checking the relevant box, the Client agrees to the Service Provider's terms and conditions.
  • Information about the program, including its content, prices, and other conditions, is provided individually in the description of each specific program. The prices listed are final.
  • In the event of extraordinary circumstances preventing the conclusion of the contract by the Service Provider, the clients or their legal representatives will be promptly informed, and any paid amount will be refunded to the Client if an appropriate alternative language program cannot be found.

4. Program Organization

  • All programs take place throughout the year on dates specified in the program description on the website.
  • The duration of individual sessions (hours) is 60 minutes or as agreed upon with the Client.
  • The duration of group program meetings is specified in the program description.
  • Individual and group sessions do not take place during non-working days and weekends unless agreed otherwise.

5. Prices and Payment Terms

  • The price of the programs is stated in the description of each program on the Service Provider's Website. The price applies exclusively to clients attending the Service Provider's in-person or online sessions.

  • The price for sessions held at the Client's premises is subject to an individual pricing offer and subsequent agreement with the respective client, taking into account the Service Provider's travel specifics and other arrangements.

  • The first 30-minute consultation for new clients is provided free of charge.

  • The minimum order for an individual program is 1 hour, which must be used within 1 month from the order date.

  • The price for an individual program is due immediately upon ordering, but no later than 1 day before the first session (unpaid hours cannot be used).

  • The price for a group program is due no later than 3 days before the program starts, either as a one-time payment or in installments, the number and period of which will be agreed upon between the Client and the Service Provider.

  • Payment is considered complete upon crediting the Service Provider's bank account (IBAN SK34 0900 0000 0002 6301 3145).

  • Textbooks, teaching aids, and other necessities for the programs are not included in the course price stated on the Website.

6. Cancellation of Sessions and Cancellation Fees

  • If a Client attending a group program does not participate in a meeting, the Service Provider is not obligated to provide any financial compensation or replace the session.

  • If no clients from a group program attend a scheduled session, the session will be considered completed.

  • Each individual Client is entitled to one replacement session for a scheduled session if the absence is announced more than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged as completed sessions (a cancellation fee of 100% applies).

  • Canceled and completed hours for individual Clients and groups are electronically recorded in the shared document of the Client's educational plan, which is accessible at any time.

  • The Service Provider is obliged to wait for the Client for a maximum of 15 minutes. If the Client does not arrive within this time frame from the agreed start of the meeting and does not notify the Service Provider, it will be assumed that the Client does not intend to attend the session, and the session will be considered canceled. The Service Provider is not obligated to contact the Client or notify them in any other way about lateness or forgetting about the session. Each program participant is responsible for the accuracy of their attendance and absence.

7. Termination of the Contract

  • The contract may be terminated by either party with written notice (via email).
  • The Service Provider may terminate the contract only in the following cases:

    1. Non-fulfillment of program capacities
    2. The Client jeopardizes the property or health of other program participants or the Service Provider
    3. The Client does not pay the agreed price by the due date.
  • In case of termination by the Service Provider, the Client will be refunded the paid price in proportion to the unused sessions, or an appropriate replacement group or individual program will be provided.
  • In case of termination by the Client, it is necessary to notify the Service Provider in writing (via email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
  • For a group program, it is possible to terminate the contract no later than 14 days from the date of receiving the program. The first completed session in the program is considered the date of receipt. Within this period, the full price of the group program will be refunded to the Client. After this period, the Client is not entitled to a refund of the paid price.
  • For an individual coaching program, it is possible to terminate the contract at any time, with the Client being refunded the paid price in proportion to the unused sessions.

9. Liability

  • The Service Provider assumes no responsibility for the non-achievement of specific language goals related to the language program and any associated damages. The Service Provider is not liable for the cancellation of the program due to unforeseeable circumstances.

10. Final Provisions

  • All rights to the Seller's websites, especially copyright to the content, including the layout of the page, videos, photos, graphics, logo, and other content and elements, belong to the Service Provider. Copying, modifying, or otherwise using the websites or their parts without the Service Provider's consent is prohibited.

  • The Service Provider reserves the right to unilaterally modify these general terms and conditions, as well as the fees for language coaching programs or online courses listed on the website www.lingonada.com. Any changes made will be announced on the website www.lingonada.com.

  • In the event of any disputes arising from the Contracts and these General Terms and Conditions, the parties undertake to first attempt to resolve them through mutual agreement.
